The Sunshine Skyway is a series of bridges and causeways crossing the entrance of Tampa Bay from the Gulf of Mexico, extending southward from St Petersburg, Florida into Manatee County (Florida) near the cities of Bradenton and Sarasota. The Skyway has a total length of about 11 miles, with the main bridge just over 4 miles long and rising to a height of 180 feet above the entrance to Tampa Bay.
Images in this gallery are sunset and twilight views of the Skyway from a public fishing pier near the south end of the main bridge.
