Dunedin is a small city (population 35,000) located on the Gulf of Mexico coast just north of and adjacent to Clearwater, Florida. The center of Dunedin includes shops and restaurants plus a waterfront area with a public marina and fishing dock. Dunedin is also home to the spring training site for the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team and one of the world’s best rated beaches on Caladesi Island just north of the city. Events held in Dunedin at various times of the year highlight the city’s Scottish heritage.
